New major release: Siedle Access Professional 7.0
Siedle has optimised its IP system Access Professional with a focus on video features. The new major release 7.0 offers extensive concierge video functions and integrates external IP cameras. A new licence model also makes it easier to incorporate additional system functions. All this makes this high-performance system more flexible than ever for users.
Access Professional 7.0 offers considerable video features for greater security and convenience in residential buildings with concierge, in industrial and commercial complexes with porters as well as in buildings with sensitive areas under video surveillance.
Concierge camera
The new concierge camera function forwards the video feed from an IP camera in the reception area to internal users. This means that residents can take a look at their visitors before deciding whether to let them in or not.
Door video forwarding
Also new is the door video forwarding feature. This function transmits the camera image from a video door station to an internal user as soon as the concierge calls them. The resident speaks to the concierge first and can see the visitor at the intercom system at the same time. If required, the concierge can establish a direct voice connection.
The new video features can also be combined. The concierge then controls the image transmission depending on where the visitor actually is.
Both functions are extensions of the Access Software Concierge (ASC 170) and can be used free of charge without additional user licences.
Integration of external IP cameras
In addition to the concierge camera, the new release also enables IP cameras to be used for monitoring sensitive or security-relevant areas, such as underground garages.
Up to ten IP cameras with video streams can be used per Siedle Access server. Specific streams can be selected for monitoring, either in live mode with up to four streams on one screen at the same time or as camera scan with an automatically alternating sequence of streams.
New licence model
As an open IP system, Siedle Access Professional can be configured for practically all conceivable purposes. Release 7.0 also offers a new licence model: This allows you to add system functions which are not part of the standard scope of Access Professional more quickly and easily than ever before. By purchasing application licences in the web shop, the required function modules can be downloaded and activated right away – such as call memory, lift control or customer-specific functions in conjunction with Siedle’s Access Service Centre.
Upgrade for Access Professional 7.0
The upgrade licence for version 7.0 is free of charge for all Access Professional systems with a Siedle maintenance contract and for systems which were installed less than 12 months ago. Older systems can be updated with a fee-based upgrade.
