Digital doorbells in a networked apartment building
Housing complex with daycare in Ehrenfeld, Cologne
The new build in Melatengürtel in Ehrenfeld is probably one of the most digital apartment buildings in the city of Cologne. At the entrance, visitors ring doorbells on Siedle Touch displays. The two digital door intercom systems are fully integrated into the networked infrastructure; door calls are received on smartphones.
The building with 32 apartments and daycare has been designed as a digitally networked property throughout. This benefits the residents, landlords, and the property managers alike. The entrances feature high-tech communication: visitors are met by Siedle Touch at the main entrance and the gate to the courtyard. The digital intercom systems with touchscreen combine convenient operation with efficient long-term use.
Video door calls on a smartphone
Tenants can control all key functions in the apartment and building centrally via an app – from the shutters to the door calls. Door communication is integrated via the Siedle Access Professional IP system. Door calls with live video feed are displayed on the tenants' smartphones. A Siedle video camera always provides the best view of the person at the entrance who has dialled a contact on the 10-inch Siedle Touch screen. The start screen features a proximity sensor and is automatically activated while the call button overview is intuitive to use. The user search with letter selection and status display for door calls round off the features designed for convenient operation. The status display provides visual feedback, thereby helping to ensure barrier-free access for people who are hard of hearing.
Digital data management with remote administration
Siedle Touch also offers many benefits for both landlords and property managers. The facility manager can manage data remotely and update it via the easy-to-use interface in the IP network. Siedle Touch also offers individual design options. Those responsible for the project have adapted the start screen info areas to their corporate design. Further customisation, such as for the digital call buttons can be carried out at any time. As a multi-talented digital device, Siedle Touch offers real design freedom. This also applies during installation: the two versions in the Melatengürtel are integrated into a painted door panel as well as in a door station with a stainless steel surface from the Siedle Steel design line.
