Siedle camera 130 with wide dynamic range

25.04.2022

Siedle is continually developing its cameras. As well as the premium model, the camera 130 now also features wide dynamic range (WDR). This technology compensates for differences in brightness and improves the image: the contrast ratios and detail recognition are optimised.

Wide dynamic range is used in the video technology to compensate for poor lighting conditions. If strong backlighting results in large differences in contrast or lack of definition, the WDR technology compensates for this. It takes several images of the same subject with different exposures, evaluates the individual images and merges sufficiently exposed image sections to create an optimally lit overall image. All areas of the image are readily visible and faces are clearly recognisable.

The optimised video images for the camera 130 fulfil all security requirements. State-of-the-art video door communication helps to provide effective building protection and burglary prevention.

Two cameras for all scenarios

The Siedle camera 130 is the all-rounder for the majority of applications. With a pick-up range of approximately 130° horizontally, the camera captures key events at the entrance – thanks to automatic day/night switchover around the clock (true day/night).

The Siedle camera 180 also features WDR technology and optimum night vision. With a pick-up angle of 175°, the premium model offers a field of view that ranges almost from wall to wall.

Both camera models are suitable for door stations in the Siedle Vario, Classic, and Steel design lines and are also available in Siedle sets and video installation kits. In terms of technology, the cameras are available for the In-Home bus systems, Access Professional and for system-independent applications.

Down to every detail

The Siedle cameras 130 and 180 are unobtrusive, for example in a door station in the Siedle Vario design line. Yet they feature powerful technology with wide dynamic range and optimum night vision (true day/night) and capture every detail.

This side-by-side comparison clearly illustrates the advantages of wide dynamic range. The right-hand image with WDR compensates for the strong contrast; the person and details are clearly recognisable.
