When the wallpaper is long gone, Siedle still rings, speaks and opens the door. Many in-house telephones and door stations from the 70s, even from the 60s and 50s, are still in service today without complaint. No wonder: that's what they were designed and built for. Obsolescence, the planned inusitation of products, is a foreign word for Siedle. Because the most sustainable are products that have been carefully produced and last a long time.

We have incredibly high expectations of functional safety, durability, and longevity which surpass legal requirements. We therefore use particularly high-quality materials, such as corrosion-resistant V4A stainless steel, developed for use in seawater, swimming pools, or chemical industrial plants.

Siedle products are known for their excellent transmission and sound quality. And for good reason: our acoustic lab specialists have been involved in the development of new products from the very beginning to guarantee the best performance from microphones and loudspeakers.

Hammer blows, water baths, salt spray, electric and acoustic tests, UV rays, and continuous use without breaks: our products and materials first have to prove their reliability under extreme conditions.

With its own EMC laboratory

We test our devices for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). EMC acceptance is a recognised quality feature and a prerequisite for the CE mark. External companies also benefit from the high standard of our EMC laboratory as a service for developing their products.

Certified for Siedle Secure

We do not develop all devices ourselves. Sometimes we work with specialists who have extraordinary expertise in the relevant area - such as the readID One transponder reader. We do not hand over control of the proverbial Siedle quality. We also put every external device through its paces in uncompromising tests.

Only when it meets our strict standards for functional reliability, resilience and longevity does it receive the Certified for Siedle Secure label.

Long life products

Our devices remain with their owners for decades. Our wide range of Siedle replacement parts and comprehensive service packages ensure that devices keep functioning and retain their value over a long period of time. Subsequent upgrades or expansions are also not a problem, thanks to our products’ modular design and backwards compatibility.

Our repair service

Our service doesn't just make repairs, it also advises our customers because sometimes, switching to a new system is more cost-effective than constantly maintaining an old one. Even then, existing housings and cabling can often be reused.

We keep parts, capacity and machines available so that we can continue to supply the necessary spare parts even many years later, and we have employees in our service centre who have been working at Siedle for over 30 years. Their experience and knowledge of devices that haven’t been available for a long time is an endless source. Of course, all this comes at a cost. But the effort and expense is worth it.

Replacement and exchange

Siedle products are extremely durable, but they might still break. At some point, there will be repairs to be done and spare parts will be needed. It then becomes clear how a manufacturer deals with this. Does the customer have to renew the entire system, or only a defective part of it?

Siedle ensures that repairs can still be made for decades. For all other cases, replacement devices are available.
